Your opportunity

TraceLink is seeking a full-time Product Manager to focus on expanding our multi enterprise applications that enable Pharmaceutical companies and their partners to engage each other in compliance and various other processes across the supply chain in leveraging the power of Tracelink’s state of the art Opus platform. Product Managers are responsible for working with cross-functional teams and customers, managing products from cradle to grave, justifying new product development investments, determining and documenting new product requirements, and facilitating product rollout. If you’re self-motivated, intellectually curious and motivated by designing and developing innovative products for global organizations, you could be a good fit for our team. Candidates will work in our Pune office with a flexible, in office work schedule.

What will you be doing?

  • Gather requirements from internal and external stakeholders
  • Create and document product requirements and use cases
  • Define product features and functions, and work closely with User Experience team on personae definition and product UI designs
  • Present innovative product ideas and user interface designs to customers to garner feedback
  • Conduct design reviews of use cases and user interface designs with Development, QA, Architecture, Professional Services and other internal stakeholders
  • Work closely with architects to understand system tradeoffs for various approaches
  • Facilitate discussions around design and implementation approaches to ensure the best approach is selected, meets the requirements and aligns with company direction and timelines
  • Work with scrum team to author, groom and prioritize user stories for product features and functions
  • Participate in scheduling, coordinating and planning product development releases with Development and QA
  • Work closely with Development, QA and Architecture to resolve issues throughout the development lifecycle
  • Participate in bug triage and prioritization
  • Review and accept features upon completion of development and testing
  • Support and adhere to the release process
  • Provide status updates on the Product Release efforts
  • Serve as product expert; provide secondary support to Sales and Professional Services
  • Work with Marketing to contribute to creation of marketing materials and messaging
  • Provide demos, presentations, support analyst briefings
  • Perform competitive analysis
  • Up to 10% travel required

In this role you will…

  • Enhance our suite of supply chain products supporting a diverse set of manufacturer use cases focused on the pharmaceutical supply chain
  • Take ownership for product expansion to support adjacent markets (e.g. Medical Devices, Surgical)”including but not limited to pick-pack activities, shipments, receipts, aggregation, disaggregation, decommission, and destruction processes.
  • Collaborative Product Development: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to conceptualize, develop, and implement innovative solutions tailored for specific Manufacturing use cases. Ensure these solutions align with operational needs and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Drive the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch. Oversee the development process, coordinate testing, and ensure timely and successful product delivery. Continuously monitor product performance and implement enhancements as needed. Apply TraceLink product, business process, methodology & ecosystem knowledge to drive effective programs.
  • Requirements Gathering: Gather and prioritize product requirements based on thorough understanding of customer needs, internal stakeholder inputs, and market demands. Translate these requirements into actionable development plans .
  • Quality Assurance: Work closely with quality assurance teams to ensure that mobility solutions meet high-quality standards. Conduct regular evaluations and implement improvements to enhance user experience, product efficiency, and reliability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with internal teams (Product Management, User Experience, Technical Communications, Services, Support, Engineering, Architecture) to ensure coordination and alignment leveraging all necessary parties to ensure our success. Foster a collaborative environment to ensure seamless integration of scanning mobility solutions with existing warehouse management systems.
  • User Experience Enhancement: Continuously focus on improving the user experience of mobility devices and applications. Gather user feedback, perform industry trend analysis and implement design modifications to optimize user interaction and satisfaction.
  • Compliance and Security: Ensure that mobility solutions comply with industry regulations and security standards e.g. GxP practices. Implement measures to safeguard sensitive data and maintain the integrity of warehouse operations.
  • Training and Support: Provide training and support to internal teams, customers to ensure the effective adoption and utilization of mobility devices and applications. Address any issues promptly and proactively provide solutions to enhance user proficiency.
  • Market Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analyze industry trends to identify emerging technologies and best practices related to Supply Chain solutions.
